I’m Zach. I run Evening Glow and build LightDeck, software for lighting contractors. I work with JavaScript, Postgres and AI development tools to turn the problems I see in the field into useful software.

Turn the details from a property walkthrough into a proposal a contractor can review.
A job starts with photos, fixture locations, site notes, and pricing decisions. I’m building a workspace that keeps those details connected through planning and proposal preparation.
I work across the application, database design, automated testing, and release verification. My focus is giving AI useful context while keeping structured job data and human review in control.

Where it comes from
Close to the work.
I run Evening Glow, an outdoor lighting business in Central Kentucky. I care about lighting that brings out the character of a property and makes people enjoy being outside after dark. That takes thoughtful design, attention to detail and clear communication.
I handle customer conversations, site visits, estimates, purchasing and project planning. That work keeps me close to the details contractor software needs to get right. Before Evening Glow, I supervised freight teams and coordinated dock operations and dispatch. I’m also a U.S. Army veteran.
I’m interested in useful AI, software for service businesses, and working with people who care about what they’re building.
